Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! For those of you who don't know me, I work off-site for our branch's Development Department.

I heard about this website through my work for Bethany. I think it's a great way to share the personal passion that I have for Bethany's ministry - that I "caught" in my 7.5 years working here.

I am so impressed with the caliber of services that my coworkers provide to families and children in the name of Jesus. And that professional service is actually making a difference in the global orphan crisis.

My husband and I are going through our first adoption right now.  We have two biological children, and our dossier is in Haiti so we can bring home "Number Three" as we affectionately call him. (Yes, we've indicated a preference for a boy).

So here's my challenge: make a page like this one and share YOUR passion for securing permanency  for children with YOUR friends and family. (get started by clicking on the "I want to raise money too" link above) If five of you make your own firstgiving page by October 6, (and indicate it with a $1 donation so I can track your participation) my son and I will bring a cake to your office on October 8.
