Through Emmaus’ partnership with www.firstgiving.com , you can:

• Create a personalized, fundraising page about yourself, the “Cycle for Shelter” & why you ride to support Emmaus.
• Reach out to many people quickly & simply to invite them to help you reach your fund raising goal.
• Show how the funds raised help Emmaus create solutions to the growing problem of homelessness.
• Offer your supporters a no-hassle, secure method of making online credit card donations with a tax receipt provided.

  Cycle for Shelter riders pledge to raise a minimum of $150 in addition to the registration fee. $25 from just 6 people in your address book will reach this goal and 90% will go directly to support program services. Emmaus must raise $7,000.00 every week just to continue our current services. With your help we hope to meet increasing needs so please try to raise more than the minimum.

• In 2009 Emmaus will complete Evergreen Place, 20 units of supported housing pictured at top left, for elders who are homeless. You and your sponsors will help Emmaus continue to offer needed services to 1,700 people each year who have no where else to turn.
