Hello Everyone,

As most of you know and have supported me, I participate every year in the Ride for Kids to benefit the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation.This is an effort to help these beautiful children who have been afflicted with this disease. With each passing year it has become increasingly more difficult to better the fundraising that I have done in the previous year. With all of your help and support I have been able to raise over $16,000 since 2002 through my fundraising and $6,619 last year. In an effort to raise more money and show my commitment to helping these children I am continuing my efforts from last year. In addition to my participation and volunteering at the Ride for Kids event in August, I again plan on walking/running approximately 33 miles from Huntington, NY to Glendale, NY (Mt. Lebanon Cemetery) to my Grandmother's gravesite on June 15th to commemorate her birthday. I am hoping to better the seven hours it took me last year. This commitment to help children afflicted with cancer comes from my own bout with cancer in 2001, my grandmother's fight with sarcoma and so many else affected by this disease. The money donated to the foundation goes to research to help aid in trying to eradicate this disease and also to provide scholarships for survivors. Any pledge in which you can give to assist me in raising money for these children and our fight against cancer is greatly appreciated. Thank you so very much.
