Hi All,

Over the past few years I've spent part of my vacation time working on Habitat for Humanity builds in Oakland, Livermore, and Alameda, as well as in Mexico. As you probably know, Habitat is a charitable organization that builds homes for deserving low-income families. The East Bay affiliate also uses green building techniques that are good for the environment and reduce the cost of home-ownership.

I've signed up for the Earth Day Build-A-Thon in Oakland. I plan on working all four days--from April 19th through 22nd--but I'll need your help in doing it. In addition to framing six new houses, the goal of the Build-A-Thon is to raise money for construction of the homes. In order to participate, I need to raise $200 in contributions for each day that I work. Your assistance will keep me busy pounding nails and help to meet the fundraising goal of $100,000!
