Help build a computer room in Nepal

Dear Northwestern Friends,

I have partnered with an organization called Room To Read to start a computer room in Nepal.  With only $16,000 we can fund equipment and teaching so that students can learn more about technology.

Most Nepalese children in rural areas have never seen a computer. Yet, adequate computer knowledge and skills are major factors in determining potential future employment opportunities.

In addition, while 35% of males are illiterate, 57% of females cannot read or write, according to a report from UNESCO's Institute for Statistics.

Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts.
