2010 Walk for Fidelco

 Each year hundreds of walkers and dogs come out to support Fidelco on the beautiful paved walking trails that wind their way around the campus of Manchester Community College. This year, our Walk is scheduled to kick off at 8:30 a.m. on May 15th. Come join Fidelco staff, clients and guide dogs as we walk for New England’s only guide dog school. To celebrate Fidelco’s 50th anniversary, this year’s walk will showcase many new features including the everpopular country fair.  Bring a chair and pack a lunch or visit our food vendor as you experience the music of the one and only Diamond Collection. This energy packed band will have you rockin’ and rollin’ to the music of Neil Diamond.

 We had so much fun, we just had to do it again! On Saturday, May 22 we will host our first ever Walk for Fidelco- Boston. The Boston Walk will be held at Castle Island on Boston’s South Shore with a 9:00 kick off celebration. The breathtaking views of the Boston Harbor will blow you away as you stroll around Pleasure Bay. This beautiful site maintained by the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation offers paved walking trails, playgrounds for children and picnic area’s for your pleasure. Castle Island is easily accessible from downtown Boston by car, bus or the T.   
 
Register online, spread the word, get friends and family to sponsor you for the event and join us for a fantastic day in Manchester or Boston! Walk as little or as much as you like. It’s not about how many miles you log; it’s about celebrating and supporting the many lives Fidelco has changed and will continue to change through the years
