My personal message:
Mika was found in an alley at just 2 weeks old, her eyes just openning.  She was tiny, undernourished and her rectum was protruding nearly 4 inches from her body. Her legs splayed to the sides and it was evident that something was abnormal about her condition.  Mika was brought to A Dog's Life Rescue for help.  We've taken Mika to several different vets so we have as many opinions as possible.  We've learned  Mika's pelvis didn't form completely at birth so part of it is missing.  In effect her organs are not where they should be, they've shifted downward.  This doesn't cause pain, just one of the things we are trying to figure out in regards to long-term effect.   Mika has some nerve issues as well in her hind end so she is incontinent and will never have use of her back legs.    Mika is a fighter so we are not going to give up on her, we take it  day by day.  Mika will need surgery on her hind end when she is old enough.  Her surgery, along with diapers and vet visits are very expensive so we are desperate for donations.  Any amount is greatly appreciated!
