10 years! Can you believe it? Forrest Gump has been running the Tulsa Run and raising funds for Special Olympics Oklahoma for a decade. This year, Tulsa Run 2008, will be Forrest's last year to run the 9.3 miles. One more time Forrest will run with a suitcase and a box of chocolates on behalf of the athletes throughout Oklahoma, raising support for the year-round program. To mark this occasion, I’m asking you to provide your largest gift possible to Special Olympics Oklahoma.
Every donor will be entered into a drawing for:
2 - $25 gift certificates compliments of Runner’s World – 4329 S. Peoria, Tulsa
2 tickets to the 2008 Gymnastic Stars event at the BOK Center - Tulsa
Every donor contributing $25 or more will be entered into a drawing for:
1 Hair style and cut compliments of Infinity Salon of Tulsa
3 Dozen Rose Bouquet from Floral Design Studios
Every donor contributing $75 or more will be entered into a drawing for:
1 round of golf for four at Coffee Creek Golf Course – Edmond
or
A “night stay” package at the Skirvin Hotel in downtown Oklahoma City
Every donor contributing $100 or more will be entered into a drawing for:
An autographed football by former OSU Coach Pat Jones
or
An autographed “Heisman” football signed by Steve Owens, Billy Sims & Jason White
Friend, you have made a difference in the lives of many Special Olympic athletes over the past 10 years. I sincerely thank you for supporting “Forrest” during these annual Tulsa Run events. Please help celebrate this decade of running with a generous gift to SOOK. Don’t forget, the drawings will be held on October 24th and all winners will be notified. Remember, your pledge will be inside my suitcase and together we will go the 9.3 mile distance to benefit Special Olympics Oklahoma. Come out on October 25th and cheer Forrest on.
