The Dr. John T. Carey Memorial AIDS Walk, to be held the morning of Saturday, October 4, in University Circle, supports programs providing critical HIV/AIDS services to residents of Northeast Ohio. Beneficiaries include the AIDS Taskforce of Greater Cleveland, the Free Medical Clinic of Greater Cleveland, the AGAPE Program of Antioch Baptist Church, the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Community Service Center of Greater Cleveland, Planned Parenthood of Greater Cleveland, the Women’s Center of Greater Cleveland, Hispanic UMADAOP, the Ohio AIDS Coalition, Camp Sunrise, Community AIDS Network (Akron), and Proyecto Luz/Project Light.
