Protect Great Lakes Water for Future Generations to Enjoy
Freshwater Future is sponsoring our 4th annual Walk, Paddle & Roll to raise funds for programs that help Great Lakes communities protect their precious water resources. We aim to raise $15,000 by December 31, 2011. We'll use that money to provide grants and communications, networking, and technical assistance to grassroots watershed groups throughout the Great Lakes basin.
This Quickstart Guide will lead you through the basic steps, from registering with Freshwater Future and choosing an activity to setting up your webpage on FirstGiving and emailing friends. The Quickstart Guide also explains how to raise even more money by getting media coverage and sponsors.
If you've already completed Quickstart steps one and two (register for WPR and choose an activity), then you can click here to create your FirstGiving profile.
We look forward to seeing your personal Walk, Paddle & Roll webpage and are eager to answer any questions. You can phone us at (231) 348-8200, or email Ann Baughman, outreach specialist, at ann@freshwaterfuture.org.
