Run for Friendship
The mission of the Friendship Club is to engage, educate and empower girls at risk.
Since 1995, The Friendship Club has been helping girls with a year-round program of after-school tutoring, one-on-one mentoring, cultural field trips, peer support, community service opportunities and a full summer enrichment program.
We are proud of our success. 100% of girls who have completed The Friendship Club program have graduated from high school!
The Friendship Club receives no state or federal funding; 90% of our funding comes from you - individuals, businesses and service clubs. The remainder comes from private foundations.
The Run for Friendship on September 12, 2009, is our biggest fundraiser, so please join Team Friendship and help support the important work of The Friendship Club.
