The Friendship Club

The mission of the Friendship Club is to engage, educate and empower girls at risk.

Since 1995, The Friendship Club has been helping girls with a year-round program of after-school tutoring, one-on-one mentoring, cultural field trips, peer support, community service opportunities and a full summer enrichment program.

We are proud of our success. 100% of girls who have completed The Friendship Club program have graduated from high school!

The Friendship Club is supported by individuals, businesses and service clubs. The remainder comes from private foundations.

The Friendship 100
June 27, 2011
49er Family Fun Park, Grass Valley

An Indy 500 style car race, miniature golf tournament, and banquet dinner…The Friendship 100 is all of these and more. The owners of the 49er Family Fun Park in Grass Valley have given us the run of the place for an afternoon and evening of adult fun in a kids’ park. The Friendship Club girls are there to host the event, which includes a catered banquet dinner for all underwriters, sponsors, and participants. Racecar drivers and golfers compete for prizes and grand-prize winners in all categories take home a personalized, engraved trophy.
