Ashley lives on her own in community and does very well. Ashley has become a team captain on her local Special Olympics team because of her attitude and leadership.
How has Special Olympics changed your life?
The ability to meet new people and to get to experience new things. Ashley trains Special Olympics 2x a week in the sport for that season. She is very dedicated and loves to meet new friends.
What does Special Olympics and attending the National Games mean to you?
It means meeting one of my goals through Special Olympics. Ashley has dreamed of going to an event outside of the local and state events. This really is a dream come true for her.

Ashley is almost always excited but sometimes needs a push to put her back on track. Usually, as simple as, "Smile, Ashley!"

Loves to travel, loves watching WWE wrestling and her favorite is John Cena.
