On AO Music's dynamic new album ...and Love Rages On!  you'll hear five children's choirs from around the world.  Many of the choirs AO Music has recorded provide the children singing in them a valuable skill and a better way of life in their homelands.

It is our goal to begin similar programs in Haiti, a place where singing was a natural part of everyday life.  However, since the devastating earthquake, many of the children are disenfranchised and their songs are falling silent.

AO Music is partnering with the highly reputable and effective HAVServe organization, led by Carline Brice.  Our initial fundraising goal of $5000 will fund AO Music producer/singer Richard Gannaway to travel to Haiti on two occasions:

1) Firstly, for ten days to organize the children's choir, to coach the HAVServe volunteers on teaching the choir, and to deliver small instruments and sheet music to supplement the students' learning.

2) Secondly, for a return trip with a recording engineer, to record the songs of children's choir,  the goal being to utilize the choir in a future album and/or for a fundraising benefit album.

Ultimately, it is hoped that this pilot program will lead to others throughout Haiti, and ultimately a national children's choir to perform on behalf of Haiti all over the world, raising awareness and increasing understanding of their culture.
