Aiden was diagnosed with Aplastic Anemia right before Easter and though his fight with this disease was not long; he proved to be a strong, brave little boy. After weeks of fighting, with his family by his side, he ended up having to leave us before anyone was ready to say good bye.

Before Aiden became sick there were a few things that you would notice immediately when you met him, he had gorgeous blue eyes, a halo of curly blond hair that ended up being his trademark, he loved Mickey Mouse, and more importantly he was a Mama’s boy through and through. He had this bond with his mom that no one could understand, but for him and Katie it just made sense.

Aiden brought this Navy community together in Kingsbay, GA.  In his short life he touched so many hearts and lives, and there are so many that want to give back. Here is an opportunity to help fund the research that is trying to find a cure for Aplastic Anemia. We hope that through Aiden’s memory we can help other children who are battling this heart breaking disease.
