A.D.O.P.T. Pet Shelter is located in Naperville, IL. We are a private, no-kill, non-profit organization that provides temporary shelter and care to dogs and cats in search of their forever home. Finding homes for our voiceless animals, many of whom have extraordinary medical needs or are behaviorally challenged, is a priority for us. In addition to rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming of those animals who find their way to our door, A.D.O.P.T. promotes a strong spay-neuter program, offers humane education opportunities to community groups, and offers temporary fostering for people in need, through its Blessed Bonds program. Mission & Vision: A.D.O.P.T.’s mission shall be to improve the quality of life of animals and to place them into loving and permanent homes through rescue, extraordinary and compassionate care, and humane education. A.D.O.P.T envisions a community where every pet has a permanent and loving home, every companion animal is spayed or neutered and all pets are treated with respect and compassion.
