Please support my 100 mile trail run to benefit disabled U.S. Army Rangers and the families of those who have died, been disabled, or are currently serving in harm's way.
Lead the Way Fund, Inc. is a non-profit organization established to raise funds in support of disabled U.S. Army Rangers and the families of Rangers who have died, have been injured or are currently serving in harm’s way around the world. Lead the Way Fund, Inc. will provide spouses and children of deceased, disabled or active duty Rangers with assistance for health and wellness programs and other services determined to be vital to the family’s well-being.
I'll be training hard and running three 50 mile races and a 70 mile race, in addition to thousands of miles in training runs. The Oil Creek 100 mile will be tough with 18,000 feet of climbing and challenging trails, but its nothing compared to the sacrifice made by members of the 75th Ranger Regiment and their families, especially in the case of those injured or killed in the line of duty. Please support this cause and pass it along!
Update: Thank you to everyone that donated to this wonderful cause. I had a pretty good race overall, coming in at 28:04, and running for this cause made it easier to get through the pain, exhaustion, and sloppy trail conditions while running through the night. This page will stay open through the end of the year in case anyone wants to donate for Veterans Day, end of year, etc. Thank you - RLTW!
