On January 16, 2012 Henry Vanthournout lost his battle with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF).   He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather who faced IPF with courage and strength.   It wasn't until he was diagnosed in 2002 that we learned of IPF; a disease with no cure, that is little known and that lacks funding for critical research.

Team Breathe On's mission is to raise awareness about IPF, to raise money to help find a cure and to further the sense of community between PF patients and the people who love them.  We sincerely hope that you will join us in our effort to find a cure for idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis.
