"Hi my name is Brylee! I am 12 years old and live in Alabama. On November 30th 2010 i was diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disease (3 in a million kids) called Juvenile Dermatomyositis (JDM). While I was in the hospital all I could think or talk about was puppies! My friend set up a surprise visit when I got home with the cutest baby English Bulldogs but then I wanted them (or any puppy) to come back every day just for a quick visit! God blessed me with a love for animals AND art so I decided to start B.A.R.K. where I could help "reward" kids with a visit from a pup or find other ways to make them happy!! I sale my Art and use the money for more supplies, do fun things for kids everywhere AND most importantly donate and bring awareness to the CURE JM Foundation so we can FIND A CURE!!!
