Thank you for visiting my donation page in honor and memory of my son, Jeremy Burwell, who died in a motorcycle accident on February 26th, 2009. I appreciate everyone's generosity, bringing the 2012 donation amount for this site to $3,600 with an overall result of more than $139,000 for the Atlanta event. I hope we can increase that amount again for 2013.
Of all the donations you can give, none will benefit children and families in need any more than this. There is no greater pain than losing a child, whether it is by an accident or a disease. I've been riding in the Ride for Kids for many years and it has touched my life in many ways. My friends and I are committed to riding in this event as long as we can. Morissa and I continue to work as Task Force Leaders again for the 2013 Atlanta Ride for Kids because we believe in this cause so deeply.
The money raised by this and other Ride for Kids sites is making a difference. Children with brain tumors are surviving and living full and productive lives as a direct result of the research that has been funded by the Ride for Kids and Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation. Please continue to support our cause.
Thank you for thinking of my son and for contributing in a way that will help others. Many thanks for your support -- and please forward this to anyone who you think might want to contribute too!
