Capital Campaign: Triple 'E 'Movement

Promoting & Reflecting All That Is Caribbean Through Radio

CCI is a nonprofit media broadcasting company headquarted in Prince George's County, Maryland.  We are currently conducting our annual capital campaign called the CCI Triple E Movement:   Promoting & Reflecting All That Is Caribbean Through Radio. This campaign aims  to assist with the costs for constructing CCI’s radio studio, which is the inception phase to capacity development for CCI's future radio station (internet and terrestrial) while creating jobs.

Caribbeana Radio Studio 77 will be used for broadcasting never before heard of news broadcasts, musical genres of the Caribbean, promoting the various cultures of the Caribbean on air.   The studio is our primary tool for accomplishing CCI's mission of Educating Entertaining and Enlightening All That Reflects the Caribbean. 

The studio will help to develop pertinent historical content for archiving purposes.    Development of a studio will advance the work of an archival studio containing treasured music, up-to-date information on Caribbean history, documentaries by Von Martin, CEO and Founder, plus 35 year old journalist and broadcast veteran. 

All fund raising efforts supports the organizations mission, the people we aim to impact, and the future legacy that has been built over the past three plus decades. In short fund raising will lead CCI to developing the first legitimate Caribbean Radio Station as well as Caribbean Cultural Museum in the United States. 

Our goal in to  fund raise $50,000 between now and December 2013. Funding will also support CCI's Youth Entrepreneurial Development internship program.  Youth from 16 to 25 years of age will assist management in the development of CCI's first Caribbean American owned radio studio in the United States.   If you know of worthy students interested in interning they may contact vonetta.martin@caribbeana.org.  

This studio is a major necessity for CCI to independently develop its own programming and services without time constraints and to provide 24 hour 7 day a week content to a market that is immensely underserved.
