As a fellowship, we feel God leading us to become "doers" of the word, rather than just believers.
Every Orphan's Hope is an organization that cares for orphans in Zambia, Africa. They build homes (in duplexes) which house 8 orphans and 1 mama (a Christian widow) until the child graduates high school. These aren't just "orphanages," but these children are legally adopted into loving homes. The homes are modest, but include a living room, kitchen, and three bedrooms (boys, girls and mamas room). They receive school fees and uniforms, food, shelter, health care, a loving mother, and the love of Jesus, knowing that they have a Father in heaven.
We have an insane, lofty goal of building one entire home. That means that EIGHT children and one mama would live there -- not just for one generation -- but for generation after generation. Each donation of a brick is one more brick towards building a home that will forever change children's lives.
$33,000 is the number because a home is 6,600 bricks. That comes out to $5 a brick. Would you consider donating $5 (or increments of $5 such as $20, $50, or $150), to help build this home for orphans?
Even if the target donation isn't reached, every dollar received will go into an account that will build part of the home!
