After running in the downpour of rain on March 17th at the LA Marathon 5K, we decided to kick it up a knotch and do the Pasadena 10K next! Thank you to everyone who supported us for the 5K in March, and I hope you consider donating for our next challenge in May. The goal is a build-up to doing a full marathon again.
We are running these to find home for abused and neglected children all over Los Angeles, Orange and Riverside Counties. It's supporters like you who make it possible for these kids to find their forever family!!
For those who do not know my story, I am a 28 year old who is now a 1 year breast cancer survivor. In 2011 I had to miss the LA Marathon due to being in surgery for this disease. Over the last year I have fought tooth and nail, and now I am happy and healthy again, getting stronger and stronger. Doing each of these races for the charity that I stand strong for is something I love. Matt has been my rock, and he is right there with me!
Cheyne has been one of our best friends for many many years, and I am glad he is joining us for this 10K! It really means a lot to me that he has been such a support.
