Hey everyone - thanks for visiting my fundraising page for Karaoke for a Cause 2 for Comfort Zone Camp!
I started volunteering for Comfort Zone Camp (CZC) in 2010, and quickly got hooked on the “feel good” energy that the organization creates. As someone who has lost friends over the years, I knew the impact that CZC could have on kids who were grieving and experiencing loss like I did - and I needed to help.
When my friend Jenna started brainstorming ideas for her annual Karaoke for a Cause fundraiser, I immediately thought of CZC – and she loved the idea. We hit the ground running and booked The Side Bar (at the Famished Frog) on April 12th in Morristown, NJ from 7pm to 10pm.
Jenna and I would love nothing more than to see everyone come out to the event, but we understand how crazy and hectic life can be - which is exactly why this page exists. If you'd love to help out but are unable to attend, please consider making a donation right on this page. Donating is easy, fast and secure, and will help us achieve our overall goal of $2000.
All donations - big and small - are appreciated and loved. To put the value of your donation in perspective, consider this: it takes $500 to send just one kid to camp, and approximately 50 children attend each camp. So clearly, every dollar counts.
Again, thank you - and please consider donating to Comfort Zone Camp today.
** CZC is a not-for-profit organization that holds weekend-long bereavement camps for children ages 7-17 who are suffering over the loss of a parent, sibling or caregiver. To learn more about the organization, please see the "Nonprofit" tab above or visit www.comfortzonecamp.org
