"Jonah is a six year old boy who has been riding at Centaur Stride since he was three.  He has cerebral palsy, which affects his trunk, legs, and left arm.

Horseback riding has helped strengthen his core muscles, develop his balance, and improve his walking gait.  Most importantly, however, Jonah loves the entire experience:  from showing off his walking-with-a-walker skills, to riding around the arena participating in the “games,” to riding in the woods when the weather is nice, to entertaining his sidewalkers with his running narrative.  He benefits from the social interaction as well as the physical therapy.
