Nathan was born 16 weeks premature with his twin brother, Connor.  Although Connor died when he was just one month old, Nathan continued to fight for 89 days in the NICU.  As a result of his premature birth, Nathan struggles with Cerebral Palsy, Mental Retardation and a seizure disorder.  However, he is a strong, joyful 4 year old little boy.  He is our hero.

 

Nathan loves Rosie and Maple, two horses at Centaur Stride.  He has been riding there for only a few short months, but has made significant progress in core body strength, balance, coordination and speech.  He is always excited to "go see Rosie" and loves to tell the horses "walk on please!"
