Hi, my name is Rose.  I am 10 years old and in fourth grade.  I live with my mom, dad and little sister.  I love to read, sing, and watch sports.  I was born with a disability called Spina Bifida which means my back bone didn't form right.  I started riding horses when I was four years old to help me get stronger and stretch my muscles.  I can't walk on my own legs, but riding the horses at Center Stride helps me to enjoy the outdoors and I’m working hard while having fun.  I just love to ride the horses.  My horse is a mule named Rosie. How special is that? Please help me to raise some money for our riding center. It costs a lot of money to take care of the horses, and they help so many people, like me. I’m the one on the far right of the picture. The others are my friends at Centaur Stride. That was last year’s walk-a-thon. It was fun.
