How are you doing? I hope that God is doing as many wonderful things in your life as He is in mine.

I want to share with you a challenging ministry opportunity that God has presented to me. From June 18 through June 25, 2012 God has offered me the chance to go to Jamaica with the youth group from Spirit of Life Church International in partnership with Know The Truth Ministries. KTT is a faith-based, non-denominational Christian organization that has over 50 years of combined experience and expertise in mobilizing, training and equipping individuals and churches for short-term missions. It is a 501(c) (3) corporation. During this 8-day missions trip we will be reaching out to the Jamaican people while also ministering in prisons and hospitals; praying with sick; street witnessing; aid and supporting Kingdom building by lending aid to rehabilitating churches and more.

While God has opened up a door for me to develop a greater heart of compassion for His people around the world, the exciting part is that you will be able to share in this compassion in several ways. First, you can help pray for me and the youth of Spirit of Life. We will need your prayers that God will prepare us for our visit and bless our efforts as we minister to the people of Jamaica. We will also need prayers that our financial needs will be met. At this time we need to raise $1900.00 each to attend this trip, and that is quite a challenge!

Another way you can be involved is to help provide that financial support. God has been good to all of us, and we sometimes take His goodness for granted. I'm compelled to go and do what I can do, to serve where I can be of service, to teach and to give of myself. Would you prayerfully consider supporting me in this endeavor with a donation? You may be able to give $200, $100 or $50 but whatever you give will be needed and deeply appreciated. I will need to raise all my funds by May 31, 2012 in order to pay for airline tickets, lodging and other items.
