Thank you for visiting our fundraising page! Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support our fundraising efforts.
Our KOB Project is about new beginnings, strength and community.
As we start this new chapter in our business, we want to lay the foundation for our company to grow while making new connections within our community. Connections that will provide the opportunity for us to give back to our friends and family, both those that we now know and those we have not yet met; an opportunity to provide hope for prosperous, healthy days.
Several years ago when helping with a Habitat House, each volunteer who had a hand in its construction was encouraged to write a blessing within the walls of the home. Those blessings were about providing a new beginning, strength and community to a family in need. As I saw the new studs framing the walls of our business, it took me back there to that day, to those blessings.
Our first event is the KOB Project, which stands for Kernels of Blessings. We asked our family and friends to send us their blessings via email, text or voice message or to write on our Facebook wall so that we could write their words onto the interior studs while our building is in its construction phase. We will photograph the blessings prior to their being covered by the drywall sheeting. In addition, we will create an online album where you will be able to view the blessings we have received.
For each blessing we receive up to 500 blessings, we here at Chippy’s Kettle Corn, will donate $1.00 to CHERUBS which is The Association of Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia Research, Awareness and Support. This cause is very close to home as my sister and her husband are expecting their CHERUB baby, Wyatt, in November.
We hope to reach our goal of 500 blessings and we hope that you will find it in your heart to make a personal, tax-deductible donation through this website. Although our blessings portion of our campaign may be over while you are at this page, we will continue to support and raise funds for CHERUBS who will continue to bless us with their presence.
Thank you so much for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too! To learn more about CHERUBS, please visit http://www.cdhsupport.org/
Many Blessings,
