In memory of Gene

The Drebber Fundraising Page

Hello family and friends,

First off, thank you for visiting this website in remembrance of Gene.  As you all know Gene was the best father a daughter could ask for, loving husband, grandfather, and the greatest friend one could ask for.  Many people cannot say that they have touched many lives, but Gene truly touched every life he was involved in.  Many have said he was a wonderful mentor to them and that doesn't surprise me.  Gene knew what he wanted out of life and sought after it every single day.  He made sure his friends and family were pointed in the right direction and if they got off track he would "kick" them right back on track with his humorous "German" comments or his deep loud voice.  I know he would not want any of us to mourn in his passing, but instead, live our lives to the fullest and never give up on what we want out of life.  Somewhere he is on a boat listening to Eric Clapton and watching NASCAR.  Please keep his life, laughter, loud "German" voice, and his memory close to your heart, and always know that wherever he is he loves us all dearly.

Gene was the loving husband of Christina Capobianco, beloved son of the late Eric and Evelyn Drebber, wonderful father to Erika (Michael) Weber, Melissa Drebber, and the late Erik Drebber, cherished grandfather of Khloe Phillips, and dear brother of Kaye Vitarelli and the late Sandy Andersen.

Please do not send flowers or gifts.  If you would like to honor Gene's memory, then help us fight for a cure to Pancreatic Cancer by making a charitable donation on this webpage in his memory to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.  Your comments are appreciated below.
