Right now, about 1 billion people—or one in eight people—do not have access to safe, clean drinking water.
Worldwide, the water and sanitation crisis claims more lives each year than all forms of violence, including war.
Sadly, children are especially vulnerable. Every 20 seconds a child dies from a water-related disease.

Water Wells: A single water well can provide clean drinking water for an entire village and help prevent dehydration and water-borne disease.
Cisterns: When drilling wells isn’t an option in high-altitude areas, cisterns are built to help collect and store rainwater, giving a family access to a water source and an improved quality of life.

In 2012, through the efforts of fellow athletes in The Endurance Trust, we hope to drill 10 or more wells and supply an addition 40 cisterns. Our goals are big, but so is the need. This is the first of our events in 2012, so please help us make a difference in the world we race in!
SO... whether it is a penny per mile or a dollar per mile, every little bit counts!
Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts.
If, however, you choose to write a check, you can make it out to "The Endurance Trust" and present it to me on the run or drop it off at "The Dog House". This will also save us the administrative charges of this website.
Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
