Hi All: 

If you don't already know, I recently joined the Board of the New York City Writers Coalition that starts writing programs in underserved communities throughout the city. While I was SURE I would never join another board, I was SOOO impressed with the work that they do, that I joined. Since they are now officially ten years old, we are celebrating with a 10 days of NYWC.  I hope to raise as many $10 donations as possible during October 22-31 because ten dollars can go a long way – even in New York City!

This $10 fundraising drive will benefit the NY Writers Coalition’s free creative writing programs: Pens and notebooks for NYC youth, transportation to and from reading events, etc. Writing workshops for homeless, incarcerated, or disabled individuals. Your donation will continue to make this happen.

It’s vital that NYWC's work continues, and I hope you’ll join me in supporting this wonderful organization. If you can offer one donation ($10), great! If you’d like contribute five donations ($50), awesome! Every little bit helps, and you can donate whatever amount with a single click.
