After sitting in on a Guam animal cruelty trial, I realized how important a show of presence is for the animals and the judicial system.   On February 6, 2012 I witnessed the trial of Jose Castro Jr. from Chalan Pago.  The picture in the photo is his dog.  I realized sitting in that court room I could do something.  I can be a silent witness to this animals suffering.  PLEASE help us help them!!!!  We need money for shirts for the court room if you can help we sure do need it!

Did you ever want to make a difference in an animal’s life? We are G.A.I.N. and we are the voice of those who have none. To long animal abuse and neglect has been tolerated on Guam. We are seeking a data base of dependable individuals who are willing to sit in on animal abuse trials and here is the funny part “SAY NOTHING.” Yep that’s right nothing…our presence insures that our judicial system listens by our very presence. That they will know we will not go away, we will not forget, we are the keepers of these animals and we will not stand by and watch this anymore. This is a demonstration of our sheer presence that gives these animals voices and power. If you are willing to put on a P.A.A.C. (People Against Animal Cruelty) shirt and show your presence at these hearings we NEED you. The animals NEED you. How does this work…All you have to do is show up when we give you a trial date and time, we will have a shirt for you to put on and you just sit quietly in on the hearing, at the end of the trial your just drop your shirt back off so it will be available for the next trial.

I know easy right…only in numbers will Guam’s Judicial System see that this is what our community wants and demands.
