FLEAS is a small group of Texas A&M University students looking to make a difference in the Bryan/College Station area.  All members of FLEAS have a passion for animals and this is the reason we chose to volunteer for the Brazos Animal Shelter.

The Brazos Animal Shelter is a non-profit, animal welfare organization whose mission is to enhance the human-animal bond and act as a community resource for all pet animal issues.  The staff and volunteers of the Brazos Animal Shelter believe animals enhance the quality of life.  They value the lives of all animals, and strive to save the life of every homeless pet.

The Brazos Animal Shelter provides humane shelter and care for stray and unwanted animals. Their varied services are designed to promote responsible pet ownership and to enhance the quality of life for the people and animals in our community.

Those affiliated with the Brazos Animal Shelter do everything within their power to protect the health, safety, and well-being of animals.  In order to do so, the shelter needs to be equipped with new steam cleaners to ensure the animals stay healthy and free of disease.

Newly arriving animals could spread disease to the healthy pets currently housed at the shelter.  For these reasons, sanitizing at the Brazos Animal Shelter is critical in keeping all animals healthy.  Using steam has been proven to sanitize and disinfect using only water instead of harsh chemicals that could potentially harm these precious critters.

FLEAS is asking for your help by donating to the Brazos Animal Shelter in order to purchase steam cleaning equipment.  The money donated would be sent directly to the Brazos Animal Shelter in to the Get Clean with FLEAS fund.  All donations will be used to purchase new steam cleaning equipment and replacement scrubbing pads.
