Hakker Short Film Festival

This fund was created in honor of my Dad, Jack Krulewitz, who passed away too soon in November 2007. He was kind, caring and full of love. His signature physical trait was his mustache which he donned since the 70’s and he had a legendary appetite.

We shared so many memorable moments, including when his mustache would unintentionally retain leftover ice cream drops. He would flash his trademark smile when you would point out the need to wipe the ice cream off the 'stache and we would share a big laugh about it. He loved to laugh and we miss him every day.

There was a period of time after his chemo and radiation that he lost both his mustache and his appetite.
