Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! I will be participating for the first time in the annual Polar Plunge for the Law Enforcement Torch Run 2012 for Special Olympics. This event will be held at Lake Lanier Islands Beach and Water Park on February 18, 2012. The maximum time allowed is a bone chilling 3 minutes. What ever percentage of my fundraising goal I meet will be the amount of time I spend in the water!
25% = 45 seconds
50% = 90 seconds
75% = 135 seconds
100% = 180 seconds!!
Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts. You can donate using a credit card and FirstGiving will send you a receipt for your donation which is tax deductable.
Many thanks for your support. If you would like to come up to Lake Lanier on Feb. 18th and support me, as well as enjoy the other activities they have available that would be great! Their is no charge to get into Lake Lanier that day, just let them know you are their for the Special Olympics Polar Plunge.
Don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate for me to jump into the freezing waters of Lake Lanier in February.
Thanks in advance for any and all donations. The Special Olympic athletes truly appreciate everything that is done for them. Please support this worthy cause!!!!
