Women for Women Reconstructive Surgery
Thank you for visiting our fundraising page!
Founded by the International Confederation for Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (IPRAS), Women for Women Reconstructive Surgery is a program supported by female plastic surgeons to help disadvantaged women suffering from disabling, disfiguring or socially excluding conditions caused by domestic violence, war and accidents.
Women for Women Reconstructive Surgery is a small program and everyone works as a volunteer. All funds go directly to patient care. Because of this, with every $200 donation, we can provide surgical care for a woman in need.
Our goal is to raise $10,000, which will pay for an entire mission with surgical care for 30+ women. In 2011, missions are planned in Iraq, Pakistan, Afganistan, India and Bangladesh.
Take a moment to look at the WFW website at www.womenforwomen-ipras.org to get a better sense of the work being done.
Please also join us June 6 for a cocktail party at Bortolami Gallery. We'd love to introduce you to our friends behind this fantastic organization! (Bortolami Gallery, 520 W 20th Street June 6th 6-9pm)
Thanks for your help!
