Has your boss every pushed you “Over the Edge?” How much would you pay to push back?
Integrity Integrated is gearing up to push Ginny Wilson-Peters “Over the Edge” in support of Special Olympics (Iowa & Illinois).
If we raise $750 in donations for the Special Olympics, we (Chelsea & Becky) will “Toss Our Boss” off of the Hotel Blackhawk. Okay… that might be a bit of a stretch! Ginny has graciously agreed to rappel off of the 131 foot building on October 31st. But FIRST, we need YOUR help in reaching our goal!
Donate today and make sure to leave Ginny a message of support and advice for her 11-story descent!
Update 10/11/12: WE DID IT!! Thank you to all of our wonderful supporters (see below), we reached our initial goal and Ginny WILL be rappelling down the Hotel Blackhawk on 10/31! She's such a good sport she's also agreed to match donations (up to $500 total) made this week. That means that with Ginny's match, we are $240 away from raising $1500 for Special Olympics. If you have not already donated, will you consider helping us to double our original goal?
Update 10/24/12: THANK YOU! Due to an overwhelming amount of support (and a $500 match from Ginny!) we were able to double our original goal and raise more than $1500 for the AMAZING athletes of Special Olympics. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU! For details about watching Ginny's rappel live, contact Chelsea at 563-359-1099 or chillman@integrityintegrated.com. We couldn't have done this without you!
Please Note: Donations will be equally split between Special Olympics Iowa & Special Olympics Illinois.
About the Cause:
Special Olympics has been serving the needs of children and adults with intellectual disabilities since 1968. Donations collected will be evenly distributed between Special Olympics Iowa & Special Olympics Illinois. Both are statewide nonprofit organizations that use sports training and quality competition to provide people with intellectual disabilities the opportunity to participate in a larger society where they are accepted and respected.
In addition to offering Olympic-style competition in more than 20 sports, they also offer a wide array of other services to develop literacy and leadership skills, promote inclusion, encourage health screening, and provide specialized equipment for individuals with severe and profound intellectual disabilities. Your gift provides Special Olympics with the ability to serve nearly 11,000 athletes in the state of Iowa and more than 21,000 athletes in the state of Illinois.
