Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! JP Jumpers have kicked off the 2012 Fundraising Race for the Autism Society of Central VA 5k Race. We have from now until race day, May 26, 2012 to become NUMBER ONE lololj!!! This year is the ASCV 5k 10th Anniversary. The race started 10 years ago as a small venture to raise Autism Awareness and since then it has turned into the Autism Society of Central Virginia's biggest fundraiser of the year. In May 2011 the ASCV it had grown to over 1900 participants and raised over $73k. Of those participants over 100 of them were JP Jumpers and of that $73k raised, the JP Jumpers raised over $2,500.
In honor of the ASCV 5K, 10yr Anniversary, the JP Jumpers fundraising goal this year is $10,000. We are requesting that all donations towards the fundraising race include the number 10 in the donation amount or that the donation amount be in increments of 10. The JP Jumpers LOVE the fundraising race. In 2012 we finished 2nd place. In 2011 we finished 4th place. Now it's time for the JP Jumpers to take the crown in 2012, and be the FIRST PLACE Fundraising team by raising $10,000. That's right TEN THOUSAND DOLLARS!! I know we can do this. We also want to have the team with the most registered participants, setting a participant goal of 150 registered team members.
Ohhhhhhhhh, and if anyone wants to just drop the total amount of $10,000 as their donation......don't let me stop you lolol; but know the race doesnt stop there. WHEN we reach our $10,000 goal before race day on May 26, we'll change the goal and make it higher!!! Letssssssss Gooooooooooooooo!!!!!!
JP JumPers, time to JumP in and raise money for a cause. As you know Autism Awareness and raising money for those families affected by autism is near and dear to my heart and affects our family directly through JP. We're not trying to win the race; we're just trying to solve the puzzle.
PS, for those of you who don't know, I sit on the Board for the Autism Society of Central VA as the VP of Fundraising. It only makes sense that the VP of Fundraising's team should win the Fundraising race, RIGHT lolol!! Letssssssss Goooooooooo Yall. Raise Awareness, Raise Money, Make me Proud (and make me look good lol) all at the same time!!
