5th Habitat house sponsored by J&J

For almost a decade, the J&J family of companies have been partnering with Raritan Valley Habitat for Humanity promoting a sense of teamwork while improving the lives of deserving families and making a visible difference in the community.

Over 2000 J&J employees have volunteered on Raritan Valley Habitat for Humanity construction sites, framing, roofing, painting and landscaping- helping to build homes in Hunterdon and Somerset Counties. But these volunteers have helped to build more than just houses---they are building self-esteem and self reliance of a family, building a stronger neighborhood and building for the future of a community.

Continuing their commitment to the well-being of local communities, a number of J&J companies have recently partnered to sponsor a new Habitat home in Lambertville, NJ. This will be the 5th house funded by J&J companies.

Recently, a J&J employee volunteering had this to say when asked what he thought of the experience…

          “I felt so proud of my co-workers for working so hard to contribute to such a wonderful cause. I hope to encourage other departments to participate in the future!”
