I am a member of the 2011 GIVE Class, a program of Business Volunteer's Unlimited Maryland ("BVU"), whose goal is to raise awareness among the next generation of civic leaders about the growing need for volunteerism and to engage them in the community while providing educational learning seminars to help them develop personally and professionally.

On December 8th, 2011 from 6-11pm, BVU and GIVE is teaming up with Merritt Athletic Clubs for their annual Holiday Party as this year’s nonprofit VIP partner. We have been working all year to put this party together and it’s going to be awesome! Our theme is “SPOTLIGHT ON BALTIMORE!” and we will be highlighting neighborhoods throughout the city and bringing the best of Baltimore to all who attends! Great food, awesome people, cool drinks, live and silent auctions, a DJ for the dance floor and so much more!

For the event, I have an individual fundraising goal of $500 and all the proceeds go towards putting on this great event and building a better Baltimore.
