May 2, 2012 marks the 7th anniversary of my baby brother Elijah receiving a kidney transplant. Without the help of the Kidney Foundation he would not be here today.

Since that day, as a way to give back, I have participated in the National Kidney Foundation’s Kidney Walk in honor of Elijah. This walk presents an occasion for dialysis patients, organ transplant recipients, donor families, living donors, the medical communities, and the general public to celebrate LIFE and support the foundation's mission. Please help us give back to the community that makes a difference in the lives of many. These past years you all have been very kind and generous and I have been able to raise my target goals every year.

Funds raised go towards research and help for patients and their families. This is a great opportunity for us to work together to help people understand the need for early detection of kidney disease. No donation is too small as every little bit makes a difference.
