About a year ago, Karma Rescue was called to a golf course where two pit bulls and their 7 babies were living. We wanted to rescue the dogs, but the adults were too fearful and ran when we approached. We were able to catch the 7 babies and put them into foster homes. The mother and father, however, were faster and were able to bolt. We enlisted the help of a borrowed humane trap to get these dogs to safety. You might remember the Golf Course story, and all 9 of the beautiful lives saved.

Karma Rescue has created Operation Freedom to raise money to purchase a humane trap. Oftentimes, in rescue, feral animals are too fearful and insecure to trust humans, making it necessary to use a humane trap to aid in the rescue of these animals. Having a humane trap at our disposal will enable us to help more animals.
