Rubi was originally rescued from a high-kill Los Angeles area shelter with her companion, Rambo, by her original owner. Recently, Rubi's owner was incarcerated, leaving the dogs in a desperate situation. Karma Rescue scooped up Rubi and Rambo right before they were taken back to the shelter. We promised to find them great homes so they could have the great lives they deserve.

Rubi is the sweetest girl. She loves people and other dogs, and always greets you with a happy smile and a tail wag. Poor Rubi came to us with severe anxiety. We've consulted with top veterinarians who have prescribed perscription medications for Rubi, but sadly, this is not enough.

Rubi needs training so that she can become more comfortable in her own skin. During her training, Rubi will learn to make decisions for herself, learn her place within a pack and a family, and become more confident.

Our wish for Rubi is that she becomes more confident and happy so that she can find a great family to share her life and love with.

Rubi has a lot to give; please help us to help Rubi. She deserves to be the confident girl we know she can be.
