Dear Friends, Family and Colleagues,

     Thank you so much for visiting our fundraising page! We want to say thank you to everyone who contributed so generously to my marathon cause last year. Because of you, I raised nearly $6,000 to help fight the battle against cystic fibrosis. Your amazing support greatly influenced my efforts to rope Nat into running a new marathon together this year...Chicago!
     On October 7, 2012, we will be running for Team Boomer in the 2012 Chicago Marathon. Throughout last year's training runs, Nat joined me for many long miles. Having watched the past two marathons from the sidelines, he's ready to strap on his running shoes and help in supporting Team Boomer.

     My cousin Jamie fights a daily battle with cystic fibrosis. His fun loving personality, sweet disposition and determination to fight this disease originally inspired me to raise money to help him, his family, and many others in the fight against CF. Throughout the past two years I have learned so much more about the disease and have heard many more stories. We are all the more inspired to help.
     CF affects over 30,000 adults and children in the US. Your donations to Team Boomer go towards funding scholarships, research, and improving quality of life for those affected by the disease. There is currently no cure for CF, but reseach proves that we are getting very close! Even the smallest of donations aids in the fight and will inspire us to keep our feet moving.
     This year we have two simple goals; to raise awareness for CF and to finish the marathon together. If we can do both of those things, we feel confident that this year's marathon will be the best.  We cannot thank you enough for your support!!
