One of the privileges of being involved in the home-building industry is the opportunity to give back to our community.  Lueder Construction Company is thrilled to partner with Habitat for Humanity of Omaha and 7 other residential and commercial builders for the 2012 Builders Blitz - a race to complete 7 homes from foundation to finish in a mere seven days.

Due to a shortage of decent, affordable housing in Omaha, many low-income families face horrid, substandard and overcrowded living conditions daily.  Affordable housing has always been a goal of our industry and Builders Blitz allows us to take it to the next level.

One of the most meaningful aspects of participating in Builder’s Blitz is the opportunity to work side by side with the family who will purchase our home. This year, we will meet another deserving Family Partner who is already working toward completing their required 350 hours of “sweat equity” before purchasing their home through a 20 to 30 year, 0% interest loan from Habitat.

Lueder’s goal is to build a house at zero cost to Habitat… and we need your support to make it happen!  Apart from donating our time and expertise and seeking contributions of materials and labor from vendors and subcontractors, we are also raising money to help with the building costs. 

Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure.  All contributions are tax-deductible and will go directly to Habitat for Humanity of Omaha to support the 2012 Builders Blitz.
