As the parent of a Special Needs child, I know the importance of being surrounded by a support system when your child is sick and hospitalized. Staying close to your child, knowing you can take a break and enjoy a home cooked meal, and chat with other parents on a similar journey, helps you to continue to put one foot in front of the other.
My sister, Susie, and I, are honored and priviledged to run this race (my first) in support of the Ronald McDonald Houses of Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana. We very much appreciate your support!
