TIME: 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM

Tricia White Cifrino was diagnosed with Stage III Melanoma over the summer. She has persevered through tough challenges and continues to battle melanoma. She is a fighter and a true inspiration to anyone!
Two friends of Tricia’s, Megan Brizney and Ali McLean, are running in the 2009 Boston Marathon â in honor of Tricia. They are participating through the charity marathon program at the Melanoma Foundation of New England (MFNE), which is a non-profit organization dedicated to educating people about the importance of early detection and prevention in the fight against melanoma, and supporting those struggling with the disease. Both Megan and Ali have committed to raise $3,000 each for the Melanoma Foundation of New England.
You can help Meg and Ali, and honor Tricia, by attending Skate for Cover, and making a donation to the Melanoma Foundation of New England. There will be free skating, a raffle, and a representative from MFNE who will be onhand to talk about the importance of early detection and prevention.
