We are so blessed to have Northern Voices for Madelyn.  Please help us raise awareness about the amazing potential children with hearing loss have! 

As most of you know, Madelyn was born with profound bilateral hearing loss on June 15, 2009.  She has since received two cochlear implants and they have been a true blessing. It has been challenging for all of us and we will continue to encounter many hurdles along the way. 

We all take for granted simple things like hearing, listening, and learning to speak. Those things are not so simple for Madelyn.  We know that Madelyn has tremendous potential and we will do everything we can to help her prove it! We are amazed by how far she has come. We travel to Northern Voices, in Roseville, MN, several times each month in order for Madelyn to attend school.  The trips get long and it has been difficult for our family, but it has been well worth it!  Madelyn loves school, she told us last week "I like talking to all my friends in school".  She also likes teaching Max all the new words that she learns every week!  He doesn't quite say them how she thinks he should say them, but she is working on it!!  She loves playing the teacher =)
