Hello folks,
Please consider making a donation to Keeping Pace with AIDS (2012), which is being sponsored by AIDS Care. Your tax deductible donation assists AIDS Care to complete our vital work on a daily/weekly/monthly/yearly basis. Your financial contribution demonstrates your support for the clients/patients with whom we work, the friends and family members who have been lost, and those who have yet to be diagnosed or to acquire the virus.
I know that times are challenging. I know that people are losing their jobs and that the economy is tough. But I also know that those who are infected with and affected by HIV continue to struggle as well. I know that without the services of AC, many of our clients/patients would have nowhere else to turn. And far too many of them continue to lose their lives to this disease.
Please consider donating if you are able. A donation of as little as $1 is truly appreciated and will go to good use. If you are unable to donate, please consider volunteering at this event. If you are interested in donating your time, please contact (585) 545-7200
How am I participating this year? Well,
Two years ago, Julie and I adopted Oliver from Lollypop Farms. He is an obedience school dropout (much to my chagrin/embarrasment--remember, I teach dog obedience classes) and he is regularly "naughty". Despite his bad habits (which there are many), we adore him. We've decided to participate in this year's event in two ways. First, we will be hosting a rest stop in Avon to greet participants in the 50 mile bike ride that is an integral part of KPWA. Second, a bit later in the day, Oliver will be making his debut as a participant in the "Paws for the Cause" event. I sincerely hope that he musters the "strength" to be good for a few hours. Otherwise, we might provide some unintentional "free entertainment".
Thank you for visiting this page and please consider a donation or volunteering your time.
Best,
Jen Sahrle
