Each year I donate money to certain causes in the Kansas City area.  I feel good about giving my $25 (or maybe more) & then I walk away allowing other people to do all the work.  This year I have decided that I want to link elbows & shoulder some of the burden that so few have been doing in the past. 

I have friends who are living with HIV/AIDS...they are so brave.  Living with something that ignorant people consider "deserved" simply breaks my heart.  I have chosen to support AIDSWalk because all money raised will stay right here in the Kansas City area & help the men, women & children in our community.
